Welcome to the World of Gibby
I am an educator, school counselor, career counselor, coach, and clown.
I tend to look at things differently than many,
which is usually a good thing!
Among the things I believe,
is that if students can find their passion,
they can find a career to go along with that and become a happy adult!
How Do You Want to Change the World
This is a question I ask 5th graders.
If you can get them talking about--
what they are passionate about,
how they want to change the world,
how much they like or dislike school,
You are setting them on a track to start looking at career pathways that could help them become happier adults because of their career choices.
What Do You Want to Do FIRST After High School?
This is what I ask high school students,
especially SENIORS!
They do not have to plan out their entire life as a teenager, but they do need to have a
solid plan for that first year after high school.
